Hon. Enid Origumisiriza (Aunt Enid), the Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament-elect, today joined Hon. Eliab Mporera, the Ndorwa West MP-elect, and hundreds of mourners at Rubaya Church of Uganda for the final send-off of Mzee John William Ndimukaaga, who passed on at the age of 81.
The burial service is being led by Rev. Ven. Bens Aharimpisya, the Archdeacon of Rukore Archdeaconry. The late Ndimukaaga leaves behind a vast legacy, survived by 43 children, 88 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
Addressing mourners, Hon. Enid Origumisiriza decried the rising rate of corruption in the country. Echoing the President’s recent address to NRM Members of Parliament during the Kyankwanzi retreat, she emphasized that the fight against corruption must be embraced as every individual’s responsibility.
She further appealed for cooperation and reconciliation among all people, urging communities to work together regardless of the positions taken during the recently concluded elections.
