Kicumbi - Kabale. Hon. Enid Origumisiriza (Aunt Enid), the Kabale District Woman MP-elect, is among the dignitaries attending a special function at Kicumbi Catholic Church today.
The event brings together parents, students, and well-wishers to welcome Senior One students, celebrate the 2025 UCE results, and solicit funds for the roofing of the main hall of St. Charles SS Kicumbi.
The Mass is presided over by Rev. Fr. Posiano Kwitonda, the School Director.
Speaking at the function, Hon. Enid Origumisiriza calls on students to embrace endurance, discipline, and acquire practical skills they can use outside school. “Education alone is not enough. Learn a skill, stay disciplined, and endure challenges! Thats how you build your future,” she says.
Aunt Enid also takes the opportunity to appreciate the people of Kabale District, and Kicumbi Parish in particular, for the overwhelming support during the recently concluded elections. “Thank you for trusting me. I will serve you with humility,” she adds.
The fundraising drive for the main hall roof is ongoing, with contributions from parents, old students, and leaders present.
