RUKUNGIRI.- Hon. Enid Atuheire Origumisiriza, Woman MP Kabale District, today 21st June 2026 officiated as Guest Preacher during Mary’s Day celebrations at Emmanuel Cathedral, Kinyasano, North Kigezi Diocese, Rukungiri District.
In the service hosted by The Rt. Rev. Onesmus and Maama Florence Asiimwe, Hon. Enid based her message on Luke 1:28 and 38, drawing lessons from Mary’s obedience and willingness to accept God’s call despite fear and uncertainty.
“Mary was an ordinary village girl, yet God chose and favored her. Circumstances should not define you. Your address today will not be your destiny tomorrow. Like Mary, we must choose obedience over fear. Let nothing steal your joy, because God loves you with an unfailing love,” -Hon. Enid preached.
The legislator challenged Ugandans to work hard, stay disciplined, and reject shortcuts like corruption.
The service climaxed with an altar call, during which over 20 people gave their lives to Christ.
