Hon. Ninsiima Ronah Ritah, former Woman Member of Parliament for Kabale District, has commended Hon. Enid Origumisiriza for her selfless commitment to the people of Kabale District.
Hon. Ninsiima made the remarks today evening during a dinner held in honour of Hon. Origumisiriza at St. Padre Pio Leisure Centre, Kyebando, following the new MP’s swearing-in earlier in the day at Parliament House.
In her speech, Hon. Ninsiima described Hon. Origumisiriza’s dedication to service delivery and community engagement as a sign of strong leadership for Kabale District. She urged the people of Kabale to rally behind their new MP to ensure continuity in development and representation.
“Hon. Enid has shown selfless commitment to the people of Kabale even before and after the elections. That is the kind of leadership our district needs,” Hon. Ninsiima said.
She also acknowledged the work of Hon. Origumisiriza’s media team, noting that their efforts during the campaigns and the swearing-in period had kept the public well-informed and engaged.
“Let me appreciate Enid’s media team for the tremendous work they have done. Communication and visibility matter, and they have delivered,” she added.
Hon. Origumisiriza was sworn in earlier as the Woman MP for Kabale District for the 12th Parliament, which runs from 2026 to 2031. The dinner brought together political leaders, family, friends, and supporters to celebrate the milestone.
The event underscored a message of unity and support for the new leadership in Kabale District as the 12th Parliament prepares for its first sitting on 25th May 2026.
