18th July 2026, The Woman Member of Parliament for Kabale District, Hon. Enid Origumisiriza, today attended the Women of Destiny International Ministry conference held at Lift Up Jesus Church in Kabale Municipality.
While addressing the congregation, Hon. Enid commended the transformation gospel of Bishop Aloysious and Pr. Margret Kiiza, saying it is driving spiritual renewal and moral uprightness among women in Kabale.
Drawing from Galatians 6:9,
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up", the MP urged women to practice perseverance in good works that will strengthen families and build a responsible community.
In line with the government’s development agenda, Hon. Enid encouraged all women to acquire an income-generating project at home. She noted that equipping women economically is critical to fighting household poverty and achieving sustainable development in Kabale District.
The Woman MP also made a strong call for zero tolerance to corruption, emphasizing that integrity and accountability must guide both leaders and citizens if the nation is to realize meaningful progress.
The conference attracted hundreds of women from across kigezi for prayer, teaching, and empowerment.
