Kabale. Hon. Enid Origumisiriza (Aunt Enid), the Kabale District Woman MP-elect and a professional teacher, today attended the handover ceremony of the outgoing cabinet to the incoming cabinet of the Kabale University Education Students Association at Kirigime Guest House.
Presiding over the function, Hon. Enid urged teachers and teacher-trainees to prioritize acquiring other skills that can provide income apart from education. βAs a professional teacher myself, I know the challenges. Donβt rely on salary alone. Get a skill like farming, tailoring, ICT, or business that can support you,β she said
She appreciated the outgoing cabinet for their voluntary service to the association and for steering it with commitment. She further challenges the incoming cabinet to copy the good practices of their predecessors and βsee far beyond themselvesβ as they serve fellow students.
The handover marks a new chapter for the association, which brings together education students at Kabale University to promote professionalism and welfare.
