Sanitary Pad Distribution in Schools

Period poverty remains a major reason why girls miss school in rural Uganda. Aunt Enid launched a campaign distributing sanitary pads to 1,500 school girls across 12 primary and secondary schools in Kabale District. The distribution was coupled with reproductive health education sessions, reducing period-related absenteeism and empowering girls with knowledge.
